Olivier Marconot - Best presentation award at Symposium CC



Olivier Marconot, a PhD student in our lab, won the best presentation award at the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) spring meeting held in Lille at the Grand Palais, May 26-30, 2014.

The 2014 Spring Meeting was held in Lille at Grand Palais, May 26 - 30, 2014. The conference featured 29 technical symposium, an exhibit, a plenary session with talks by outstanding researchers and a social event celebrating the winners of the 2014 student awards. More than 3.000 scientists, engineers, physicists and chemists attended the conference. An additional feature of the conference was the bilateral energy conference organized together with MRS, as well as the presentation along selected symposia of Japanese research initiatives promoted by J-MRS.
On this occasion, Olivier Marconot, a PhD student in our laboratory, received the prize for the best presentation.

The subject of his thesis defended on December 13, 2016 was:
Confined growth of metal nanowires/nanotubes for electrochemical energy conversion.
