Japanese Physical Society Award for Dai AOKI



Dai Aoki, who works in the IMAPEC team, received the JPS Award for Academic Papers on Physics for a paper describing unconventional superconductivity in the heavy fermion compound NpPd5Al2.

The citation for the award is as follows: JPS has established the Physics Academic Paper Award to recognize and commend researchers who have made significant contributions to the progress of physics. Articles, excluding reviews, published in JPSJ or Progress of Theoretical Physics, as well as supplement issues thereof, within 5 years from June preceding the award year. A maximum of five awards are made per year, while there may be one year in which there are no award recipients.
