Published on 12 December 2005

Thesis presented December 12, 2005

Abstract:
This PhD work presents the first results of quantum optics, and more specifically of photon statistics, from II-VI semiconductor single quantum dots.
The primary goal of this work is to look for a suitable source of indistinguishable single photons for quantum information and particularly for quantum computing.
