The 2015 Spring Meeting was held in Lille at Grand Palais from May 11 to 15, 2015. The conference featured 32 technical symposium, 3 workshops, 2 summer schools, an exhibit, a plenary session with talks by outstanding researchers. More than 3.000 scientists, engineers, physicists and chemists attended the conference. An additional feature of the conference was the EU-40 Materials Prize, a prize reserved to researchers aged under 40 who are showing exceptional promise for leadership and have made outstanding and innovative contributions to materials research in Europe.
On this occasion, Shashank Mathur, a PhD student in our laboratory, received the best poster award.
