Candidates are expected to propose an ambitious and original research project that complements existing STM activities and opens new directions, such as:
🔹 Two-dimensional materials
🔹 Superconductivity
🔹 Magnetic impurities
🔹 Quantum state manipulation
🔹 Or other local quantum phenomena
The successful candidate will develop their own research program in close synergy with internal and external partners, and will supervise the work of PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.

  • Profile required
    ✔ PhD in physics
    ✔ Postdoctoral research experience
✔ Proven experimental expertise in surface science, scanning probe microscopies, and quantum transport at very low temperature
